Apps DBA must be willing to do hands-on work, perform day to day functions, and work well with the team lead and team in place.

• Should be willing to work in 24/7 Support Model
• Experienced in Implementation DBA support
• Experienced in Database upgrades, RAC Implementation, should have a very good understanding of database concepts and architecture
• Should be very good in scripting to aid in the automation
• Should be aware and willing to work in supporting and implementing Oracle products such as GoldenGate, SOA Suite, Weblogic, Agile, any 3rd party tool integration, etc. as per Client Business

Requirements

• Should be able to build Solutions by referring to Oracle documentation
• Must have experience working on offshore/ onsite model
• Provide after hours and on-call support as required.
• Perform all aspects of database administration management including backup and recovery, upgrade testing and implementation, and storage monitoring on Oracle 9i/10g/11i
• Ability and commitment to change priorities in short notice meet timelines, milestones, deliverables and provide timely (weekly) status updates
• Communicate technical information verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical users
• There is an expectation of frequent documentation of processes to become part of the team’s toolset. The new hire must be willing to provide cross-training and functional documentation.
• Must be willing to learn and work on a shift basis. Must have good interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
