Client needed to migrate their Oracle database to MS SQL as part of Merger and Acquisition. Client didn’t have Oracle DB expertise, and this had to completed in timely manner to avoid TSA costs.
Our Solution
Buxton used Oracle to MS SQL best practices in migrating the database without defects. Used Oracle Data Pump to migrate Oracle table and incremental data. We used Oracle MS Gateway in transferring the data from Oracle along with all the corresponding objects.
Business Impact
On-time delivery of Data Migration and reconciliation of data without any defects. Buxton saved client from heavy TSA penalties and other migration related expenses.
