At the peak of the growth phase, our client began to experience deceleration in innovation and a dramatic increase in the product release cycle times, increasing from weeks to month, and then to many months. This led to a high level of frustration within the Organization, which led to the birth of the PMO transformation initiative. Against the prevailing wisdom of the industry, they chose to use the “Big Bang” approach instead of the time-tested, but a gradual transition to change.
Our Solution
This required many Project managers, Program managers, Scrum Masters, Project Portfolio managers to be onboarded in a short window of time. Unable to meet this huge demand entirely through their internal recruitment infrastructure, they reached out to Buxton among few other vendors to assist in deploying top-notch PMO resources. Buxton’s proprietary screening and vetting processes resulted in over 30 resources to be deployed to support this engagement and complete the project successfully.
