Client needed to migrate their entire application infrastructure including servers, databases, applications and application file data from on-premises data center to IBM cloud. This also required to migrate and reconcile several million (150+) small files and there were not many tools that can migrate and reconcile small files.
Our Solution
Buxton’s team meticulously planned and designed a migration solution including backup and recovery. Buxton used industry-leading practices in migrating databases, applications and servers to the public data center without any data loss and with minimum downtime. Buxton developed a custom solution to migrate small files and reconcile the data.
