    Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Lead

    Duration: 12 months
    Rate: DOE / Competitive (Immediate interviews available)
    Location: Remote with partial travel for key milestones
    Travel Requirement: Must be willing to travel for UAT, Go-Live, and critical project phases

    Position: Oracle Cloud Financials Technical Consultant (Visual Builder / REST API – PTP Focus)
    Location: Remote (Offshore – EST Timezone Support Required)

     

    Role Overview

    Buxton Consulting is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Technical Consultant to support a critical customization initiative within the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process on Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role will focus on technical development, integrations, and UI customizations using Oracle Visual Builder, REST APIs, and Oracle Cloud Payables. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials and experience delivering scalable custom solutions in enterprise environments.

    Candidates must be available to support during U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and develop custom solutions within Oracle Cloud Payables
    • Build and enhance user interfaces using Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS)
    • Develop and integrate REST APIs for Oracle Cloud Payables on a custom UI.
    • Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs
    • Perform technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
    • Ensure compliance with Oracle Cloud best practices and upgrade-safe customizations
    • Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities

     

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Visual Builder development
    • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Payables
    • Strong experience with REST APIs
    • Knowledge of integration patterns and Oracle Cloud security models
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Understanding of Accounts Payable financial processes
    • Familiarity with Agile delivery models
