About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) Program Manager to support a Transition Services Agreement (TSA) exit program for a global carve-out initiative on the seller side. The project is post–Day 1, focusing on standing up and managing key business processes for TSA management, financial oversight, and data request coordination.
This is a client-facing leadership role, requiring strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills. The Program Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth TSA operations and timely transition to the buyer organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the TSA exit workstream across IT, finance, and data management functions.
- Oversee TSA operations, tracking key deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure alignment on transition milestones.
- Manage TSA-related financial tracking, billing, and approvals.
- Oversee data request management, ensuring timely and compliant exchange of information.
- Identify risks and dependencies; proactively develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate program status, progress, and issues to leadership and client executives.
- Drive governance processes and reporting cadence to support TSA exit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 12-15 years of experience in program/project management, with proven success managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of TSA programs, carve-outs, or post-merger integration (PMI) efforts.
- Experience managing IT transitions, financial management, or data request workflows.
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead in a client-facing environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar).
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to distill complex issues into actionable plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on seller-side carve-out programs.
- Prior exposure to PE-backed environments or large-scale global transitions.
- PMP or similar certification preferred.
Expected Travel
• Once every 3 weeks + as needed
• The client is in Minneapolis and prefers morning meeting schedules
• When remote, Must be on camera-on team
